一、Introduction to SA-PE

Streptavidin-labeled phycoerythrin (SA-PE) can be used in combination with various affinity-purified secondary antibodies labeled with biotin or chromatography-grade proteins labeled with biotin for a wide range of immunoassays. Compared with avidin, streptavidin exhibits higher stability, greater sensitivity, and lower background, attributed to its smaller molecular structure and easier penetration into tissues. This product is applicable in experiments such as various enzyme-linked immunosorbent assays (ELISA), immunohistochemistry (IHC), flow cytometry analysis, in situ hybridization, and dot blotting. It serves as a key reagent for Luminex and various cytometric bead array (CBA) indirect detection methods of cytokines.

Experimental results of substituting Keruis SA-PE reagent for SA-PE reagents in multiple commercially available cytokine detection kits show that the R² of the standard curve plotted using Keruis SA-PE can reach over 99%, and its fluorescence is comparable to that of the imported SA-PE in the kits, achieving complete replacement of imported products!
